a guide to effective coaching
what is coaching?
Coaching is your opportunity to build confidence, gain clarity, and take meaningful action on the things that truly matter.

It's about being heard, paid attention to, and mirrored in a way that goes beyond what supervisors, friends, and family can provide.

Imagine having an objective advocate fully present with you, asking thought-provoking questions to help you navigate personal and professional challenges.

Coaching is an empowering and inspiring experience, designed to uplift and guide you toward realising your full potential.
who is coaching for?
I'm here to guide individuals like you who are ready to leverage their strengths, passions, and values, embarking on a journey to become the truest version of themselves.

Whether you're a rising star, a soul searcher, a new parent, or someone seeking a fresh challenge, coaching is for everyone!
It's predominantly tailored for professionals ready to identify their next career step, values-driven individuals seeking alignment, and employees aiming to maximise their strengths for impactful contributions.

It's not just for those seeking to go from 'bad to good'. In fact, most people are looking to move from 'good to great'!

The coaching offered would be designed and tailored to provide you with the best duration and frequency of sessions.
An example: 9 hours of coaching run as 6 x 1.5 hour sessions.

coaching works when...
As the coachee, here's what I'd require in our coaching partnership:
-
Take ownership of your emotions and behaviours stemming from the coaching process. It's a journey of self-discovery, and your active involvement is key.
-
Take personal responsibility for the choices and decisions you make as a result of the coaching process.
-
Be honest, open and committed to the coaching process.
-
Respect our shared time. If you need to reschedule, give at least 48 hours' notice whenever possible. Communication is key for a smooth coaching experience.
-
Bring your full enthusiasm, commitment, and engagement to each coaching session. Your active participation fuels our progress.
-
If at any point you find my behaviour or actions unhelpful or inappropriate, let's talk about it. Your feedback is crucial for a constructive coaching relationship.
success through collaboration
-
Let's ensure we don't overstep what's reasonable, respecting each other's time commitments. We'll stick to the agreed-upon session times and engage in a reasonable amount of email/messaging contact between sessions.
-
Honesty and openness are the cornerstones of our coaching relationship. We commit to being transparent and truthful with each other, fostering an environment built on trust and authenticity.
-
Share responsibility for the smooth ‘winding down’ of the relationship when its purpose has been achieved and avoid creating dependency.
